what do you do when your best guy no shows
my lead electrician no showed monday morning. no call no text nothing. I had a full day of appointments booked and had to scramble to cover everything myself. he finally texts me at like 2pm with some excuse about his car. this is the second time this year. how do you handle this?

first time warning. second time hes gone. you already gave him a chance

Document everything. Written warnings protect you legally if there's ever a wrongful termination claim.

Zero tolerance for no-call no-shows in my company. If you can't even send a text, I can't trust you on a job site.

the fact that hes good when hes there makes it worse honestly. because you keep making excuses for him and he knows it
