PEX vs copper in 2026 wheres everyone at
I know this is basically a holy war at this point but im genuinely curious where everyone stands now. I switched to PEX for residential about 5 years ago and havent looked back. But I still get customers who insist on copper because they think its 'better.'

PEX residential copper commercial. PEX is faster cheaper and the fittings have gotten way more reliable now. no contest for residential

not a plumber but ive seen PEX freeze and bounce back while copper splits wide open. that sold me

my plumber buddy says anyone still running copper in residential is just burning money... hard to argue with him
